A tarot reading does not replace professional medical/legal/business opinion and advice. It does not affect your free will or common sense, and does not control your path. The contents of a tarot reading are not legally binding. Any decisions made, or actions taken, by you as a result of your tarot reading are your sole responsibility. I assume no legal liability for any damages, losses, or other consequences of any client decisions, subsequent to, or based on, my tarot readings. Any of our Reiki services are neither offered nor intended or construed to be a substitute or a replacement of any of your current or future diagnosis, therapy, treatment, intervention, protocol, and/or follow-up by/with your medical and other healthcare professionals. Reiki is a complementary healing treatment to the present medical protocol advised by your doctor. As always, consult with your medical team prior to adding any treatment, supplement, etc to your care plan. Elizabeth is a Level 3 Attuned Reiki Master in the style of Usui Reiki.

MINORS

To receive a reading as a minor, a parent or guardian must be present. The reader reserves the right to request identification to confirm age, or establish guardianship.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All information exchanged between my client and myself during readings and/or emails shall remain confidential. No personal information shall be passed on to anyone, including third parties. This is a judgement free zone. If information is given to the reader regarding criminal or suspected criminal activity, the reader has no obligation to confidentiality of the client. I am not a counselor or health care provider, and you are not protected by HIPAA, etc. With readings given in a public space (ie: markets, fairs, etc), I can not guarantee confidentiality due to their nature. However, the reader will make their best attempt to keep information private in these spaces.

REFUNDS

All payments are final. Any refund that is provided will be provided solely at the reader's discretion, and will be minus fees where applicable. If you miss your scheduled reading, the reader has the right to refuse the refund for time worked, regardless of your attendance. No appointment is finalized as "accepted" or "scheduled" until payment is received. Be sure the window you sign up for works for you. If prior to the window conflict arises, come and discuss the issue with us before you miss your appointment, and the reader will be as accommodating as possible. No refunds are provided for "quality" concerns with your reading due to above disclaimers.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

It helps to prepare yourself mind, body and spirit before coming in. Take a moment to catch your breath, have a snack and a drink of water, and please use the restroom prior if needed. The more at ease you are, the better quality the appointment will be. If you are interested in recording your appointment, please make me aware prior as a courtesy. Upon request, a brief written summary of your reading will be provided, but it will not be as detailed as your reading, and that time will be included in your appointment. If you're feeling anxious, please make me aware so we can do some quick grounding. There is no reason to be nervous, this process is safe and physically painless. If there are topics you would like to avoid during your reading, please make me aware, otherwise I will assume you want to treat the reading as an "open book". I will always ask for consent prior to any touching, even during reiki, but you are welcome to let me know if you'd prefer a contactless appointment at the time of booking.


CONCERNING OHIO LAW

THE STATE OF OHIO HAS NOT ADOPTED ANY EDUCATIONAL OR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR UNLICENSED COMPLEMENTARY OR ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE PRACTITIONERS. UNDER OHIO LAW, AN UNLICENSED COMPLEMENTARY OR ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE PRACTITIONER MAY NOT PROVIDE A MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS OR RECOMMEND THAT A PERSON DISCONTINUE A MEDICALLY PRESCRIBED TREATMENT.
